Product Description 'LifeForce' by Chiropractor Jeffrey S. McCombs outlines a simple and effective approach to preventing and overcoming disease, illness, and other health concerns that has been used by many of the author's patients. The LifeForce Plan is a potent tool for detoxifying the body, reestablishing the normal flora of the tissues, and reawakening the body's innate ability to regulate, balance, and protect itself. It teaches us how to activate the endless life-force potential that resides in every cell of our bodies. The seemingly miraculous results are achieved through a time-proven approach to reversing the ravaging effects that antibiotics have had on our bodies. Though antibiotics are useful, it is their worldwide overuse, misuse, and general application that have produced a devastating imbalance. The LifeForce Plan reverses that imbalance and restores the regenerative, life-enhancing cycle of the body, as the dominant cycle over the degenerative, 'ageing' cycle. The Plan succeeds where other anti-Candida diets have continuously failed, due to key fundamental insights, and it also provides a way to balance the effects of antibiotics when their judicious use is necessary. This is not intended to be a typical diet book. It offers a way to achieve better 'biofeedback' from the body that will enable you to make dietary choices that will work for you. The Plan is a 'bridge' back to an optimal state of health for our bodies.

If everyone read this book the Pharmaceutical companies would be hurting financialy. I can't say enough good about this book. It has changed my way of eating. Not only have I lost weight, but I feel like I'm in my thirties. I have more energy and stamina than I have had in years.
Am on this plan right now in week 5 18 pouns loss, feel great!! April 16, 2006 M. Justic (Illinois) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
This diet while difficult to follow is what my body needed to unlock the cravings for sugar and carbs. I have been on it for 5 weeks and I feel great. The nightly 30 minute soak is a challenge but I am making the time to efficiently do the plan. To anyone who feels they need to regain control of their health and well being and add in an extra bonus of weight loss, which never hurts, I highly recommend this plan. You do not have to buy the supplements all at once for 576 dollars, you can buy them month to month so you do not feel the crunch as bad. I can't say enough about how good I feel, about how my complexion has cleared up, and the weight is just falling off without much effort at all!
Truly valuable approach for health February 9, 2007 Reader Views (Austin, Texas) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful

Sometimes a book shows up in your life just as you really need it. I believe that is what happened with this book. My closest friend has been having a really hard time with her health. I have been trying to figure out how someone so physically fit can have all of these problems at the age of 44. And how could they all not be related somehow? Then I received "Lifeforce: A Dynamic Plan for Health, Vitality and Weight Loss." The author, Dr. McCombs, main premise is that the human body starts to break down because they are overloaded with toxins, primarily from overuse of antibiotics. His book offers a natural 17-week plan to detoxify the body and help rid the body of disease and other health issues. Overall results include weight loss, vastly improved vitality and reverse aging. That all sounded great to me as I read on.
On page 4 of the book I was truly floored when Dr. McCombs listed the symptoms for a body that is overloaded with toxins. The symptoms include: digestive problems, endocrine (hormonal) systems, urinary tract, psychological health, immune system, musculoskeletal system and skin conditions. Of the many listed symptoms, my friend has several of them including lupus and the most recent diagnosis of heart muscle damage (she just found out that she needs a pacemaker). And I also found myself described in a few of the categories, especially in the category of joint swelling and pain.
When I first read the plan, I immediately started listing all the reasons why I could not participate in the program and quickly realized that the potential benefits far outweigh the things that I would have to give up for a relatively short period of time. The plan is 17-weeks long, but most restrictive during the first 8 weeks when the "Yes" food group list includes all meats, except pork, all vegetables (potatoes included!!!), fruits (except oranges), eggs, brown rice, plain rice cakes, hot brown rice cereal and tea and coffee. The "No" food group includes all sugars, yeast, dairy, all grains, dried fruit, fruit juices, sweet vegetable juices, nuts, legumes, popcorn, soy sauce, vinegar, breads, pastas, chips, milk substitutes and alcohol. At first I was put off by the restrictions, but as I kept reading I realized that I really can eat a lot on this plan and the "no" foods start being reintroduced after the eighth week. Along with the diet, there is a supplement, pure water intake and sweating (baths or saunas), plan that has to be followed to allow for a proper detoxification.
The "Lifeforce" plan is a one-time deal, but Dr. McCombs does have a suggested maintenance plan to follow to enjoy optimal success. After reading his book and visiting his website, I have committed myself to following this detoxification plan and ordered the supplements. My friend is studying the program now and considering this as her next course of action. I probably should be writing this review four months from now with my results! I highly recommend this book to people who are looking to optimize their health through using a good, commonsense approach.

an excellent program to rid candidia from your body - very informative and an easy program to follow - I was on another program for candida and I was unable to have fruit - This progam allows meat, poultry, vegetable and fruit.
The best plan out there September 11, 2007 Elizabeth C. Moore (Southern, NJ) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Me and my 3 daughters have really suffered with systemic candida, as a result of intensive and long antibiotic therapy for treating Lyme Disease. My Candida was so bad it was in my lungs, as one doctor said well be grateful it is'nt in your brain!!! After combing websites for 8 weeks, Dr. Jeff's plan seemed to be the most thorough and comprehensive. I bought the book and the suypplements and followed the diet to the letter and did not stray once and the four of us have had complete success!!! We have been symptom and candida free since June. My youngest daughter, had some difficulty with returning yeast after the diet and I contacted Dr. Jeff and we backed her up on the plan and she stayed on for 3 more weeks and is doing well.
[...]. If you e-mail you through that forum he will respond with in 24 hours. I emailed throughout the entire diet and he always got right back to me.
God Bless
